Whose Line is it Anime GEEKGASM!

Diana Galvin in her winning cardboard mecha created by Jordan Cina and Sarah McNulty, with a little coloring help from Ashley!

Hey Anime Spot, last Friday we went to the awesome GEEKGASM event and preformed a hilarious Whose Line is it Anime hour! It was super successful, and the crowd really seemed to enjoy the show. Pictures can be found on the Facebook site

After Anime Spot did their Whose Line event, we also enjoyed making awesome cardboard Mecha robots during Propeller Anime’s Cardboard Mecha Contest! After an hour and a half of mecha duct tape and crayons, the winner of the greatest cardboard mecha was none other than your Anime Spot Vice President Diana Galvin! She came complete with wings and Knightroko bunny ears, made by your other officers Jordan Cina and Sarah McNulty. Pictures of this awesome event can be found

And then came the Hentai cafe, which for those of you who weren’t there, I’ll just leave that up to your imaginations. ;]

This week we’re starting our meeting an hour early because we will be having an in addition to our viewings. This anime exchange allows you to trade, sell, or buy any unwanted (or wanted) anime, manga, games, figures or other anime-related merchandise. Tables for this will be set up on a first come, first served basis. So be sure to show up on time!

You are allowed to bring anything anime-related to trade or sell. This can be anything from anime, manga, figures and plushies to cosplay props and costumes. You will be expected to keep track of your own stuff, so keep that in mind when deciding what to bring. You can buy, trade or sell items.

Anime Spot will be accepting but not expecting donations from those who do choose to sell items. We will also bring out some of the club’s anime and manga for sale or for a really good trade.

We will be showing Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance as our feature at the end of the night.

See ya at the meeting!
